Australia Day

Postby Magpiespower » Mon Jan 23, 2006 12:31 pm

Enough with the crap already!

We all know that our national day of celebration is April 25.

January 26 is just a public holiday.

The best thing about Austria Day is the Triple J Top 100 countdown.

Other than that just another holiday for me amongst my 3.5 weeks off. Actually it means I'll have to put up with the missus, boo!

I'm worried about you Blue Falcon, thats too long to last on the "Never drinking again" thing .. It will be downright un-Australian to not have a beer or two on Aussie Day!

Anzac Day by far more important to this little black duck, but I think Australia Day definately has it's place!

I used to say that, until I got to the point where I know SFA songs. The mid 90's and early 00's were great, but now I know none of the music :(

But I'll still religeously have a BBQ, Beer and JJJ Hottest 100 Countdown for years to come.

Hey Dis, I hope all the women are inside doing what all good Aussie girls should be doing Oz day, getting food for you blokes or off down the shops to get ice for the esky......

Mind you the bloke holding the chip packet reminds of the ol saying,"the wheel's spinning, but the hamster is dead...."
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
