Lets break it down.

I don't wear nice clothes.

I don't have a company car.

I'm not really a nice bloke.

I have been called useless once or twice.

One from four. 25% chance it's HH3.

(I did forget to put an order in that Boon personally gave to me once. Fun times)

I've joined in on the fungus growth. 10 days in getting a bit itchy. Far too much salt in it for my liking.

Getting a phone call about a new job, but not being able to take the call because I share an office here.

Sent him an email to advise the situation and a good time to call. Hopefully it doesn't make his job easier trimming the candidates down.

We interviewed last week for a job here. 80 applicants in 3 days. Whittled that down to 8 interviews, got 2 back for a second chat. Offer the role to the successor on Friday, she start next Tuesday. Always a pain in the ar$e, and some of the applications are just totally unsuitable for the role. It's like they didn't even read the ad.

yeah don't think you should be expected to just drop everything when they call out of the blue. advising of a suitable time is appropriate imo

Had someone cold call for a job a week or two ago :

"Good morning, *insert company name here*, Booney speaking"

"Yeah, is this *insert company name here"

"Yes, it is, how can I help?"

"I'm at one-a them job agency joints and these jokers are making me ring people looking for work'n'that, so ya got any?"

Clunk.

I think if you can get past the initial 4-6 weeks of the beard's infancy, you're home free.

I've had a beard for about 4 years now, but mainly because I'm ugly.

Mines coming off in the morning not cause it’s itchy, but I have a meeting with a level 1 customer tomorrow and I just look scruffy.
