If a horse dies in front of a house in Elizabeth, Kentucky, the critter's owner has 24 hours to remove it. If he doesn't, then the homeower must dispose of the dead animal. It's the law in that town. An ancient Kentucky law requires all citizens of the state to take a bath at least once a year. And it's unlawful to color or dye ducklings or chicks in Kentucky, unless you have six or more for sale.
