Probably just going down the Bay or Henley Beach/Grange. Don't plan on doing much this year.

Im not a big NYE sort of person, I actually prefer hitting town in the weeks before Xmas.
Too many dickheads about NYE and nigh on impossible to get a taxi home.
Probably spend it at home with the kids, perhaps pestering someone on here while Mrs Wedge has the music channels blaring. Might head to a mate's place if I get the motivation, anything cheap so I have more drinking money saved up for the preseason trip with North to Darwin in February.

ah yes, the music channels, if you have fox and are of my era music max on a sat night is good value
you can choose any of 4 options, 80's music, 90's music, party and some other soppy stuff
brings back some great memories
I will probably be doing the same as you Wedgie
cheers and beers

There's a cast of about 20 of us plus kids up the river for NYE. Some are already up there. We're going after Mr MK finishes work Friday. Can't wait.

Hate NYE - the worst night of the year to go out on.
Will probably have a quiet one.
Save my energy for a big New Year's Day at the Coogee Bay Hotel with everybody - past and present - from the University of Canberra.
It's become a tradition.

I hate going on on NYE. I love staying at home pissing on with my mates - far easier, better music, safer, less people ...
I've hosted the last 4!

Sorry Disso, I'll probably be a scratching on NYE. Got a pissup with mates from uni in a mates new house. Will be a good night though. Just dont miss the count down......
New Years Eve would have to be the biggest waste of time. And to virtually have two public holidays after it is a bit of a pain in the arse.

Way too many dickheads around on NYE. Just having a house party, as like osmeone said, the music is better, safer, closer and cheaper

. Anyway take it easy people have a good NYE. I'll probably be back in a week or two.

Staying at home and watching "Dinner for One" on SBS.
Tune in people, SBS plays this every NYE, it's a tradition.
