Hate it, Love it?
I personally used to always hate it as my body clock never adjusts and it basically means I get 1 hour less sleep but in recent weeks I've been waking up about 5am so am looking forward to it.
Personally I think a great compromise would be if SA just went to Eastern Standard Time for the whole year basically giving us 30 mins daylight savings all year round and meaning we dont' have to worry about changing clocks and would probably be better for business as even in the summer we'd be alligned with Qld.
Biggest annoying part about it is that phpbb2 software doesn't allow for GMT + 10.5 so I have to choose whether just to leave it on the same time its on now or make it GMT + 10.
Probably stick with it as is.

Wrong. It means waking up an hour later. Example- last 2 weeks, I've been waking up at 6-6:30 every morning, under new DS time, i'll now be waking up at 7-7:30, allowing me to sleep in an extra hour.

Not sure how that works Punky as tomorrow instead of getting up at 6.30am CST I have to get up at 6.30 CDST (5.30 CST), 1 hour earlier.
I could always hit the sack an hour earlier tonight but my body clock won't allow that.

Remember back (well some of you) when winters were cold and wet. Summer was hot and dry. Xmas day and new years eve were allways hot.

Now the seasons have changed and we have Global Warming and the Antarctic is melting. Bird flu and Aids and fat chicks in low cut tops wearing hipsters with thongs. Favourites than dont win, suicide bombers, rave parties and Westies winning THE spoon.

None of this happened before we started daylight saving and sending rockets to the Moon.

Which one is responsible, I want answers and what is our Government going to do about How can we plan New years eve parties with all this shit gouing on.

Clocks go forward one hour, which means waking up an hour earlier.

I like daylight saving, leave it as it is.

The weather doesn't change due to it being in place, nothing does. Think about it. We get the same amount of daylight in a 24 period, regardless.

RRTW is quite right. It's great for an evening outdoors during a warm summers' evening.

I love daylight savings.

I don't give a toss how bright it is when I get up, and it takes me all of a few days to get into the groove.

Then, I can come home and go kick the footy at the oval, play golf, and mow the lawn.

Makes the week feel longer - rather than just work - sleep - weekend.

BTW Wedgie - can't have us the same as the Eastern states full time... they wanted to do that in the past but a lot of country areas in the state would be going to work/school in the dark (and I mean DARK) and going home in the dark.
