not beer, what is your spirit of choice?

For me its Hennessy (Cognac), so far have only found 2 pubs in Adelaide with it though.

Make mine a Bacardi!

Bundy and Cola until I started getting a heap of migraines again and had to go back to beer.

of regular easy to find drinks, Jim Beam is a favourite, but will settle for Jack Daniels or Johnnie Walker

I avoid spirits. Too easy to get too messed up. Two notable exceptions:

1. An occasional nip of single malt. I've had a bottle of Bruichladdich on the go since December.

2. A Rum and Coke at the footy (but not bought from the caravan, natch) if it's really cold.

Try not to kill it with Coke (or Pepsi, or..........) but occasionally will if the dry runs out.

Yes my mates call me a pussy but i luv a Jack Daniels or CC with Diet Coke! On the rocks. I can drink all night and never get a hangover with diet coke. Its all the sugar and crap in Coke that wastes ya the next day.

Don't underestimate the fact that cigarette smoke gives you a shocking hangover too!
I used to drink Bourbon & DC years ago, got fed up with people always asking me to justify it (bar staff, other drinkers) so I just started telling them I was diabetic! (worked a treat)

Though when mixing, I'll usually add dry!
But if it has to be cola try Coke Zero!
No sugar, less sickly taste & seeing how it's the sugar in drinks that cause dehydration...
Less chance of a hangover the next day!

...& for Gawd's sake don't drink any of that pre-mix canned crap!
(The copious amounts of sugar in them would definitely make you diabetic!)

Jim Beam & Coke for me.

18+ year old Oban or Dalwhinnie Scotch, Armagnac, green Chartreuse, Benedictine - all in pure unaldulterated form - perhaps a tiny drop of pure water in the Scotch.
