Yeah, I know his wife might have had something to do with but I got the great news today that they had a beautiful baby girl (Juliette Ellen Murrin) who was born at 12.56pm at the Lyall McEwin Hospital.
The beautiful little girl was 7 weeks early and only weighed 4 pounds 5 ounces but both daughter and mum are doing well.
Diss, Im sure on behalf of all SAFooty posters I can say congratulations and our love is with you.
My daughter was 6 pounds 2 ounces and 5 weeks early and you're in for a treat.
My son who was 2nd in line was 9 pound and it felt like we missed out on 6 weeks of baby when he came along so large.
You're in for a treat with your beautiful baby girl.

All the best and on behalf of your SAFooty family I'd like to say our love and thoughts are with you and we look forward to the photos!!
:D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Hey all,

I was about to come on and announce this but Wedgie beat me to it ;) Just got home for a shower, change of clothes and something to eat so thought I'd pop on here. It's been a very trying three or four days now but I'm glad it's over. The last dash to ICU for a C Section was a rush to the head but it's all great now.

Yes, mother and daughter are doing great, albeit small (daughter) and tender (mother).

And yes DW, born in Bulldogs territory but won't be living there ;) I was walking around the hospital with my premership polo short from last year, it was fun.

A few trying weeks ahead but I'm looking forward to the challenge, and the $4000.

Diss, enjoy the best week of your life ever, I still look back on the 3 or 4 days of visiting my daughter in the Pre Nups ward before and after visiting Mrs Wedgie a floor above as the best week of my life and look back on it fondly.
Take it in and enjoy every second mate! ;)

Yeah, good on ya bro. Great times ahead. And $4k. Chi ching$$$$$.

My girl was born on the morning of 2nd July'04 2 weeks overdue. The start of the Big baby bonuse started on the 1st July. I was quite happy with her for that.

Trust me when i say enjoy them while they cant get around themselves. U will know what i mean when one day.

Lyell McEwin Maternity staff were great when Brooke was born, puts the rest of their counterparts to shame.

Congrats Diss, she's a stunner. Good times ahead!

And may I be the first to congratulate you on choosing a beautiful name that is not made up in a cashed-up-bogan / Kath & Kim style as seems to be de rigueur these days. Great to see there are a few sane people left in the world! :)

Nice work Disso. Good choice on the name too. Look forward to having her running around on GF and Australia Day. Whats 4 pounds 5 ounces in English? Since I came about 24 years ago, prem babies are looked after better now and wont hold and medical issues. I was 10 weeks early and was in a bit of a bad way early on, but am (sorta) ok now. Juliette should have no troubles.
