I have a 87 Toyota Corolla that currently keeps overheating. I am getting the radiator repaired as I post this but I think problem could be water pump not pumping water through. I have removed thermostat and still had problems.
So now I am looking for information on how to remove pump.
Cheers Troy

Google may help you more (try something like "Toyota Corolla repairs 1987" in your search terms), but give this one a whirl mate:

Maybe try starting the engine with the radiator cap off, after it heats up and the thermostat opens, you should be able to see if the coolant is recirculating through the radiator.
If you have no joy with the water pump, you may want an auto electrician or someone with a circuit tester to check the thermatic fans to see if they are working properly.
