Now I know its not just me coz i just sent CP a message and it did the same to him...

Did anyone just try and access some of the forums only to get a message that there weren't any? It happened in this very forum! It said there were no posts!

yes saw that one (even replied to it) but this is different again... this is more than just slowness, this is different... its obsessed...

These problems have been discussed on the other topic and Wedgie is aware of it.

I'm copping a lot of the same grief as well...

Yeah, as I described on the other topic (do we really need 2???) I had this issue on Saturday but thought it'd been fixed as I haven't had it since. It a side effect of making the site 4 times faster than it was before so Im reluctant to change the code back to the way it was.
It seems when I manually "repair" or "optimize" the databases that this problem is eliminated so I will try and do that before I leave for work tomorrow until I find an automatic way of fixing it (and see if Diss can perhaps push a couple of buttons for me during the day on the appropriate page).
Thanks for keeping me informed though, perhaps just send me an email each time it happens so I can track the times, and who its happening to, etc.

sorry Wedgie but from my understanding of the last topic, i thought it was just an issue with being slow not this other stuff...my bad!

I haven't experienced any problems and have no idea what FC is talking about!
