Forgive if you've heard this before boys but try and support the Booze Brothers, Sip 'n Save's etc of the world when possible as Dan Murphy's, BWS and some others are owned by Coles and Woolworths who are selling cheap now to try and force everyone else out of the market and as has been proved in recent times, when there are competition issues and people try to get the A*** involved, the A*** will do basically nothing if a company is too big and they put it in the "too hard" basket.

Thank goodness for that too Godoubleblues because you can be assured that lines would be dropped and recipes would be changed if they took charge. Let's face it, they're slowly changing the recipe for West End Drought as we speak!!

I agree, but still - often it DOES come down to money.
I need to buy $700 of alcohol for my engagement party and I want to go where it's the cheapest!

Know what you mean Dissident but once the "local" shops are forced out of the market, we will be paying more than what the current dearest prices are. Similiar with this current egg situation, these "cheap" eggs which are an inferior product which will cost as much as the local eggs if local industry is shut down.

Anyone know of any places where you can get mixed carton type arrangements ... Need to get a gift and a while back I saw something with a 6-Pack of Becks and 6-Pack of Carlsberg (plus two other imported 6-Packs which I can't remember)??
Cheers,
CP
