I know someone who absolutely cannot STAND the girl on the SGIC ads (Carla) - the words "smug" and "stupid" come up a lot ("Why would someone buy a manual when they can't drive it??"). Are they the only ones who find her annoying?

What others get you switching over?

The radio ads for some funeral home that talks in a breathless voice with calming acoustic music about "then one day it (life) gently releases it's hold and we are gone".Try suggesting to someone dying in agony that it's just life gently loosening it's grip.

The old 'Mr. Bankrupt' adds!

" Wont someone fix me (h)airr" Grrrrr. That is the worst.

"I pay less than for a cup of coffee" also all those annoying text adds after 9pm.

I like the Johhny Walker commercial with that great tune
" Dont tell me about the clothes I wear."
And we see invisible people wearing clothes.

Also a really hate those pop up messages that appear at bottm of tv screens while watching a movie. Pis'em off!!!

Anyway - I'd reckon if he was in black and yellow he shouldn't really have that much to yell about. More reason to shut up and not be an annoying git.

If you've been watching the news or actually have some sort of clue during recent AMWU meetings
you would've noticed all the crap surrounding Radio Rentals & their blatant abuse of the new I.R. Laws.
Leading to strikes & picket lines of sparkies out the front of the Prospect Store due to unfair dismissals etc.
It took a while but our members with support from the local community eventually won that battle.
But the bottom line is
Radio Rentals (Black & Yellow or not)... Screw the evil pricks!

We have an ad on the radio here about some computer maths programs it gives me da shites and then when i am out shopping some indian bloke comes up to me and tries to flog me the same shite from the ads.

i cant stand those APIA understanding 50's ads, the ones that they try to set it up as a talkshow...FFS...you are old so get the F@#k off my TV...go crash you car or something!!!

Those over 50s commercials are AWFUL.
