Green V Mundine

I moved this from "Other Sports",as I want more people to vote, mainly because I feel Green is headed down the same path as Mundine when it comes to public support.

Not sure how the public will view this one,IMO Danny Green has just as many issues as Anthony Mundine,Green cant shut up either, and if what he incited on Sunday in Perth was pre-meditated,well.....

I for one dont hold Mundine in a bad light,I know he can talk utter crap, and he loves himself, and so on and so on.But,he's a footballer turned into a Boxer, not someone likely to ever win Sale of the Century.

So the question is,do you want to see Mundine put on his posterior,or do you want to see Danny Green get what all boxers have coming to them, that 1 punch they never saw?

Think Mundine will be too quick, too clever for Danny Boy.

Green only hope is to land a solid shot on Da Man, otherwise he's got no hope.

Going back a bit I thought Dannyboy would smear the ring with him*, although now I'm not quite so sure ... Will still be hoping he prevails but my opinion of him has slightly shifted since the other night ...

Any chance of a double knock out? :D

In Australia do we have our own version of Don King?

I lost a lot of respect for Danny Green for the way he incited the WA rabble ringside last week. He might have won WA home town hero status for doing that but that makes him the West Coast Eagles and remember what happened to them when they took on the East coast in another big bout? As for the bout ending in farce..hey, it's boxing!

As for forking out for pay for view, if you want waste your money BUY REB HOOKERS. I really wanted to see Green smash Mundine but after last week, now I don't give a shit who wins. Just goes to show that as a marketing guru Green makes a great/ordinary(wait on result) boxer.

regards,

REB

ps - Boon. You forgot the 'DILLIGAF' option on this poll.

I agree with you on this one REB. I thought it turned into an embarrasing event for Green Last week. Especially when bottles were thrown in that manner. I think he lost a lot of support across Australia for inciting the drunks at the fight....!

I just hate Mudine more at this stage. Hope Green flatens him.

Definitely a one-off.

Though the late 'Break Even Bill' Mordey can lay claim to being one of the few promoters to pull a fast one on King.

No mean feat considering the man has killed two people!

Won't be till around November pooch. They don't have bark to bark bouts like they do test matches. But then again, I've been wrong before.......once or twice
