Red light traffic cameras

Got an unmarked envelope in the post yesterday. Imagine my joy when I opened it to find a real traffic infringement notice inside, with a fine of nearly $300!
Further imagine my amusement when I noticed that the alleged infringement - running a red light - occurred in the early part of a Tuesday afternoon. A day on which I was at work, probably writing dribble on this very site, having caught the train. 'er indoors was, well, indoors, waiting for friends & their kids to come over for afternoon tea. I don't reakon it was the Pseudomite, since at 20 months old her legs are too small to reach the pedals.
I shall be requesting the photograph today. Can't wait to see what my car was doing on the road all by itself.
Has anyone else had a similar experience with dodgy traffic infringements, and how did things pan out?

im guessing its part of the conspiracy they send these fines out and hope people dont ask questions and just pay the fine.
5 out of 6 mornings when im walking to work the intersection of King William/memorial dve has a red light camera set off and its always flashing away at people running red lights.
the funniest was this morning, someone was turning left from king william st doing about 5km/h and got done, why wouldnt you wait!!!!!!!!!
i do have a quesiton, with the speed camera/red light cameras at intersections does the speed camera flash you if you speed through a green light? or is it only triggered when the light is red??

its blatant REVENUE RAISING, the COPS park cars on footpaths to get people speeding, they hide cameras under trees and bushes to get people and then they have that STUPID SIGN about not speeding but of course its after you have driven past the radar!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yep you can get done speeding through a green light

Don't exceed the speed limit and you'll have nothing to worry about

A colleague got burnt on the West Tce/Bradman Drive intersection. The city limit (East of West Tce) is 50km/h,West Tce and into Bradman is 60,so,in the middle of the intersection you are on West Tce,right? Nope. Not according to the Roads revenue depertment, its still 50km/s until you have crossed to Bradman.Phooey to that.
You may have seen an article regarding this recently in the 'Tiser,he fought it,along with others,AND WON!
he he,one for the common man.

They can catch you for speeding red light or not.
Never got done by one but it does make it a tad awkward as in the old days when approaching a red light camera if it turned orange you'd gun it so as not to get done by the red light camera, now you just have to stamp on the brakes.
I have no sympathy for people that get done by cameras (except for Pseudo) as they stand out like dogs balls on the front of parked cars on the side of the road.

saw a very similar thing the other morning after work at 9am, out the on King William Rd out the front of the festival theatre there are about 6 car parks which are normally all taken, a cop car was parked just behind the last one, so driving along you would have no idea. the sign that they put up was down near the lights at victoria drive!!!!!!!!!!!
but it isnt revenue raising
