Who has had the covid jab?
Either the 1st jab or both.

Me, one shot of AZ.

Neither, never had a flu shot either.

Getting the first Pfizer jab tomorrow. Thought was good timing being in Lockdown and nothing to do on the weekend, managed to get a time due to a cancellation.

Had first Pfizer already, get the 2nd one on Sunday.
Easy peasy to book in, when I booked it I got a spot the next day, was in and out in less than 30 mins at Wayville too.

What a load of rubbish, nobody can make you have the jab, EVER. They also can not sack you if you dont.

Ive had one AZ jab
The advice I got today about my 2nd jab
It takes up to 2 weeks for the 2nd jab to fully take effect

At present the one jab is about 65% effective
After the 2nd jab its about 90% about 2 weeks after

Im not sure if Ive made the right decision
If I was 21 again , I probably would not get vaccinated
But at my age, I decided to listen to the MedicAL experts

First Pfizer last week and the next in another couple of weeks...

As we have the girls we have found out that our support organisation has organised for foster parents to be able to fast track the vaccinations so the rest of the family (not the girls though) will be getting their's in a week or so as well....

I've had the first AZ jab on 1 June, so booked in for 2nd in about 5 weeks.

9,30am tomorrow, Im so over this shit, Im happy to get it just to hopefully be able to see a band or two before Im in aged care

But it won't end it, next out break we will be locked up again.

First in April 2nd in May. May require boosters in a years time just line we used to have to do at relevant intervals with tetanus and MMR as kids.

But the more of us that check in, get vaccinated, and practise standard precaution the less chance there is of future lockdowns and decreased time periods
