More 'high risk' (aka Old) people at a funeral.

Have you seen the people at a normal church service? Average age would be much higher than a funeral.

I went to a funeral just over a month ago and the average age would have been 40.

The average age of the morons I see walking out on a Sunday would be 150.

Unbelievable that 11 blokes in a huge outdoor space cant gather on a Saturday afternoon but if they go to the pub they can

Makes sense to me, why would anyone stand around in the sun when you can go to a pub? Craziness.

Community sport has always been a soft target.

Presumably this is state wide too?
Is it too hard for them to treat the country people differently?

go to a pub when you have Corona, sit down at a table and put the disease all over the table, get up and leave someone sits there before staff can clean, presto you have a transmission, if standing up way less chance,

Not a single case of transmission via gyms/rec centres has ever been recorded in Aus. Such an illogical measure.

Really feel like they feel they've got on top of it, if they weren't confident they would have actually put some serious restrictions in place.

Feel like a little kid being sent to their room, but I've got dinner and a Play Station anyway.

Yeah my understanding is it is statewide. Surely they could have isolated the restrictions to metro area

Yeah seems a little bit of mixed messaging.

No new cases on top of the 17 announced this morning, but equally they haven't gotten back testing results from anyone who has taken a test late last night or today.

The 34 active cases are essentially the 17 from this outbreak, and another 17 of returned travellers over the past 14 days.

I think if it stays at 34 over the next 48 hours then we can be far more confident.

I dont want to stereotype, but my gut feel is that this has come from a family of Indian or similar background.. the South-East Asian community is huge in Adelaide and they all play cricket religiously.

I feel like cancelling cricket (and all sport) for a couple weeks is the smartest move - they're more likely to play cricket than go to the pub.

Also, does the 50 at a funeral include the stiff?
