You know you've hit peak circus when Credlin, a former chief of staff to Tony Abbott, is passing herself off as a journalist at a press conference. It's even more concerning that she was chief of staff when the data retention laws were passed yet is clearly confused about how they work. HQI doesn't directly need to use mandatory data retention laws and they don't need a warrant. Credlin has no credibility and shouldn't even be at the press conference!

There is also no justification for the lockdown to continue. You should be very worried about what he is doing there because the same thing will happen here if we have an outbreak.
And yes it is clear he isnt giving up his job and nobody has the power to remove him, he is the most dangerous man in the country and should be eliminated.

Aged Care is a Federal responsibility and the RC found that Federal planning for the outbreak was entirely insufficient. More than 2000 residents of aged care homes have contracted the virus and 665 have died, 635 of which were in Victoria - that has been determined as the responsibility of the Federal Govt.

Also, new research is about to be published that states:

An analysis of the two waves of COVID-19 outbreaks in Victoria suggests that the slower lockdown on the second wave, which was not implemented until cases hit 143, compared with just 17 cases for the first lockdown, is likely to be why the second outbreak was 10 times bigger than the first. The authors suggest an early epidemic alarm mechanism based on the number of daily confirmed cases, along with maintaining high face mask use, should help minimise the risk of further major outbreaks.

So yes, I would hope that if a second outbreak occurred here that we would be much quicker to enter lockdown.
