Well lets be honest the planet probably needs a fair few more than that really.

Harsh reality, mother nature is just looking to protect itself from us.

If we are not going to put in laws to stop over populating the planet, mother nature will have its ways and means.

COVID 2020- 1,000,000 cases and rising at 20,000 per day. 60,000 dead and rising at 2,000 per day

Influenza 2017/18 - 45,000,000 cases 60,000 dead. End ex.

Tweak away.

I wasn’t suggesting you or whufc, I was just a statement in general

In most cases I agree, when it comes to this I feel it's pretty black and white. Or life and death, if you will.

I'm wondering if it's because we put some restrictive measures in place. Maybe, who knows though.

Its funny how pollution levels are at their lowest levels for years, its almost like the planet is trying to tell us something.

One thing I dont understand, they say it could get worse cause of the flu season, how does the flu season make transmission worse?

My understanding would be that its a concern if someone has the flu and then contracts COVID, which would potentially more deaths. But how does the flu season cause more COVID cases?

It's winter, naturally these types of viruses survive the colder months better.

Immune systems are weaker, medical centres are more populated and generally more germs spread in the colder months.

Yep couldnt agree more. As much as the death is sad and tragic for those that have lost loved ones. The message really is we cant keep doing what we are doing, something has to give.

I read somewhere that over 60K have already died of pneumonia in USA in past three months.

Nah mate only 50k a year die from that. Number isnt high enough to stir the emotions......70k would do it though :D

Malaria only kills 400,000 a year but i only care about people from my country so bad luck to them.

Does any one know of any one who has caught the WU FLU ????

I don't !!!!

The docos I have been watching lately after 2 months of stats is that its similar to a bad Influenza A.

These viruses kill mainly the elderly with illnesses.

One stat I did see that in the USA last year 8,000 people a day were dying from natural causes.

Under the WU FLU regime over the last cupla months that figure has gone done and every one is dying from the WU FLU very strange indeed.

So all the Co morbidity deaths are chucked in with the WU FLU stats interesting.

Me thinks theres a lot of mis information going on.

Makes you think, well, some of us, if some of those pneumonia deaths are a result of the health system being under stress from the COVID infections and people not being able to be hospitalised? Think I read somewhere the US is around 8,000 ICU beds short, on a daily basis, of what they actually need. If only they could do something to slow COVID down and help the health system to cope like we've done here in Australia? Maybe isolating people could work. Who knows.

Yes, spent 8 days in the RAH and 4 days in ICU. Does that make it real now?
