Just wondering what other roads are out there simply to raise revenue?
A few 50 zones that baffle me and quite often have camera's on them are as follows.
Burton Road, Parealowie: it's wide and busy and everyone I know that uses it thinks it's a 60 zone.
Tolmer Road, Elizabeth Park: The bit where it changes from Womma Road after you cross Main North road, you could fit 6 cars abreast.
Ryans Road, Parafield Gardens: It's very wide and industrial, you come off of Port Wakefield Road and drop 40km's instantly with no signage.
Dawson Road, Evanston: The part between South Gawler Football Club and Tambelin train station should be a 70 zone, I think it's plain rude when cops sit on the side of it with their speed guns, 95% of all vehicles speed along it, it.s wide, has off street parking, no housing or commercial properties.

Unless sign posted with another speed limit, you should be doing 50 as the default.

I'm well aware of that, some are just simply bullshit.

Main North Road near the drive in - has a 70 sign on the left hand side of the road, then about 100m later a 60 sign in the medium strip - cops used to always part just past that with their camera and ping people all day.. If you're not paying attention you'll miss the sign, and if you're slow on the speed reduction you'll get pinged too.

Blackwood and some Hills towns switch between 50 and 60 and some of the signs are hard to see. The cameras are always at the start of the 50 zone.

Pud spotted a Speed Camera at the top of Morgan Rd near the Mobile Phone Tower last week shooting traffic coming from Scott Creek
I've always assumed it was 80 but I've been looking ever since and I cant see a sign on that road at all...

That's because it is a pick up and drop off zone, not a sit and wait zone. Harsh as it is, that is how they police it.

Some clowns took down the 80 signs out the front of my place, but it is back now so it should be 80!
