OK, getting in early, and figured this was better here than in the punting section (Mods feel free to shift it if you feel otherwise).

Anyone seen any good deals for a Melb Cup Lunch package including food & drinks at any pubs around the place?

Thus far the Highway looks to have the best deal from what I've seen. Lakes was excellent last year, but should probably be better value out there.

Like the sound of the Stamford one, in a marquee on the beach and kick your shoes off and hit the "dance floor made of sand".

I Googled and found about 6 or 7 mate. The Stamford isn't in the list above, however.
