It's with great sadness to report tonight that the boy killed in todays car accident out at Burton was Lightning McQueens step son.

I've spoken to him and he's obviously shaken but is lucky to be surrounded by loved ones.

I hope I can speak on behalf of everyone in the SA Footy family in passing on our condolences to Col and his family at this very sad time.
