Very close to home for everyone here, for some a bit closer than others.
Hoping that all of our North and North Eastern posters are safe/ in a safe place.
@Q, - the hollow sounds like it could be in danger today?

Thoughts go out to all the CFS Volunteers and those affected so far. My inlaw's place at Humbug Scrub, not far from Kersbook Rd, is under huge threat.
Live at Woodside, so no direct threat here yet, but a warning has been issued for neighbouring towns like Lenswood (where my folks live) and Charleston so you never know.

Thoughts with your wife's family and yourself saintal, here's hoping they get through unscathed.
Sounds like Hermitage has coped it and Inglewood is about to.

Yeah, we evacuated some irreplacables from the club.
Was just told the fire crossed North East Rd near Inglewood.

Sounds like Lobey, Balhannah and Oakbank too now, so you'd think Woodside too, but didn't see it on the adelaidenow article.
Just seen on cfs site, spot fires around the east side of Chain of Ponds and Cudlee Creek.
CFS seem to admit they don't know what could happen, especially if the wind coming this arvo.

Do we know if they need volunteers of any sort to help out, I finish work at 6 tonight and have the day off tomorrow so can help out with whatever needs helping
We have at least 10 or so employees from one tree hill, greenwith, cuddles creek who have been evacuated so really wouldn't mind helping out
Is there a number to call

Maybe call your employees? If they don't need help I'm sure a neighbor might?

I was thinking that but didn't really want to bug them, might give them a call once they have had time to realise what's going on, the very brief chats I have with them when they have rang work they seem to be in shock
