couple of additions, nit really noteworthy but nonetheless

Flaggy Hotel - overall 6.75/10.

Colonnades Tavern - sat night. been renovated. think its 5th Quarter now or something
the salad that came with the meals was nothing but leafs, nothing else in there and gave the feedback to the waiter.

Geezus, I'm getting old, I can remember its previous renovation, when they ruined the only decent bar there (not the front bar obviously, that was scary, only went in there once).
WTF are you doing there, we only went there as we worked next door to it!
Actually I did go there once on a weekend to see James Reyne on an Easter Sunday in Club Colliseum! Was a good show too as only about 10 people were there!

Recently had lunch at Ellepresso, 136 Findon Road, Findon
The gals at the shop were vibrant cheerful and friendly
Lunch excellent
I tried the chicken sausage roll and it was a delight

Aldinga hotel

Salt and pepper squid served with a spicy salad. Salad was actually quite nice
Seafood basket - calamari a little chewy. Fish was just average. Prawns were highlight on that plate.

Not a complete write off but will avoid seafood if I'm there again.

Bistro are itself is well presented. 7.5/10
2 meals 2 drinks $90.50. Probably a 4/10 on the value for money scale
Service was really good. No complaints there so they get a 10/10

What's the Woodshed like as a venue?
Seen quite a few bands advertised over the past few months there but never been there.

Awesome venue bud, place is decked out wall to wall in posters of the classic glam metal bands from back in the day. It's not a big place, but it's intimate, staff are friendly and has an awesome vibe. You thinking of seeing Propane Candy on Saturday night?

Went to Chasers last night, I had never been.

Couldn't decide what to have so the partner said we'll just blind pick a dish each and then have half of each, I landed on the sirloin beef backstrap and she landed on the salt and pepper squid.

We were watching a race when it was delivered so I ended up with the squid at my spot so we rolled that way, I thought it looked a bit anemiac as it was very lightly seasoned but there was heaps there and it was actually superb, so was the beef.

$62 all up but 30% off drinks and food if you're a member, the partner signed up for next time and the person next in line offered for us to use their card for dinner and then told us we could borrow it when we needed drinks too.

Very enjoyable night and impressive set up, will be a regular thing for us once her card gets sent out.
