Anyone know a welder?

Postby gadj1976 » Mon Mar 31, 2014 6:30 pm

Guys, I'm thinking of buying an old Holden wagon, circa 60's but it needs some serious welding work done. Both front sills are stuffed (apparently, I haven't seen the car). The guy told me that it's about 2000 worth of work.

Does anyone know anyone in the industry that might be able to do the job for me?

Cheers

I do but he's a massive creep so I'll wait and see if anyone else knows one first. I'll ask around as well.
Hey Goose, ya big stud! Take me to bed or lose me for ever.

Have you got replacements to be welded in or do you need them made?

Yep, good point - yes. The guy selling the car has the new sills.

That's the thing - I'm not sure. I've never had him do any work for me but my mate has. I'll ask her if he works cheap.
