The new camera was RRP $599, plus the UV filter, 8GB SD card, camera case, and second camera battery, to match what I'd lost.
They didn't ask me to prove ownership of any of the minor items, just the lost camera itself.
My XS on the building is $200, but you can choose any XS you like and they adjust the premium to fit.
So, you work out your own compromise...
I'm with APIA, which is for
"over 55 year olds not working full time", but the RAA quotes for cars, and house and contents, are very similar when I cross check at renewal time. I was with Allianz at first when I went to Melbourne before qualifying for the APIA deal, and they were dearer than what I'd been paying the RAA before I left SA.
