Im lazy
I would rather watch Sports on TV than Gardening
So I need an extremely low maintenance lawn
Advice needed on more or less drought resistant lawn and garden additions

QUESTIONS
Best lawn type for Adelaide climate
Best place to purchase Instant lawn close enough to the North East Suburbs
Best shrubs, bushes, plants, creepers and sMALl trees to buy and plant
Best Mulch
Best automatice sprinkling system
Best Garden Centres to peruse any or all of the above

When I think of the amount of work to transform my yard , I think , Oh the pain the pain of it all

Been driving around the neighborhoods looking for ideas on what sort of front yard make overs to do
I would say 90 % of all front gardens look tired , messy , untidy, and generally in poor condition in the proximity of my residence
My front yard is one of the 90%

I wouldn't even bother putting in lawn if you wanted low maintenance....

I'm hearing ya Mal. I'm even looking at artificial lawn but costs more than the real thing!

I'm thinking of just concreting it and painting it green. Kids can get new helmets and knee pads for birthdays this year...

But in the long term artifial lawn will pay for itself as you don't have to mow or water it.

If I had a pay packet like Guy Williams used to earn, I might able able to afford artificial lawn

Yes , concreting a circular driveway is an option as well

I'm toying with a small area of fake lawn, but after a couple of quotes I don't think I'll do it unless I buy from Bunnings or Mitre 10 and lay it myself, perhaps with a little hired help.

I was quoted $4700 for a strip about 8 metres by 1.2 metres, but the price dropped every time I said "No".
By the time they were under $2000 I was too cheesed of with the manipulative b's to let them do it free!
