RIP JAS

Postby Footy Chick » Wed Dec 12, 2012 7:41 am

A long time member of SA Footy, JAS - was found dead last night (SA time) in her home in Scotland.

Most of us will remember her as a dear friend and positive contributor to this site.

Although I have no other details to date, it looks like she may have died from complications from an illness she couldn't shake.

May she rest in peace.

A passionate Norwood supporter who I'm sorry to hear has gone. She did a lot for the site and was always cheery. Vale.

JAS, I know I gave you crap on footy forums but it's always sad to see a passionate supporter leave us. At least you got to see Norwood win a flag.

Agreed - great she got to see a flag at the end.
Now she's gone to the big oval in the sky.

Rest in peace, Jas :(

Very sad news but as many have mentioned its good she got to see her beloved Redlegs win a flag this year. A great contributor to this site and others for many years, Im sure 'most of us enjoyed the benefit of her tireless score updates, etc at one stage or another. I had the pleasure of having lunch with her and other mods at the time last year and she was a lovely lady. RIP JAS.

Wonderful wonderful poster lost
Had many Redlegian chats by Private Message during the footy seasons with JAS
Never met JAS, but I could tell by her posts , and Private Messages , that she portrayed an image
That image was her dedication to her football club and her politeness as a poster
