Just lately, and I may have only become more aware of it as i get older, but paying for stuff, whether it be an admission fee, parking, rates, rego, and receiving sweet FA in return. Now im one for, if you want to charge a fee, then you must provide a service. Now in the last 3 weeks I've
- went to Morphettville on Melb Cup day. They charge an entry fee, we got there at 9.15, only to find that no bar open(could be license thing), no betting terminals open until 9.45( first was at 9.50), ATMs not working, no food, weren't allowed to move chairs to accomadate for group. Now if you let people into an arena, then a service must be provided, otherwise do not open. Plus a numerous list of rules and can't do's, which are really only minor, in the outcome of the day,but are way over policed.
- paying for parking at glenelg, only to struggle to find a park, then the only available one has a low,over hanging tree which hangs all over your car, dropping shit on it and branches rubbing on your car. I don't really enjoy paying for my car to be damaged.

Im sure the list could go on, but its only been the last few weeks where this has started to shit me off. Maybe its an Adelaide thing.

that morphettville thingy is ludicrous but doesnt surprise me, adelaide is a shithole compared to the other cities and if you werent bred here you wouldnt live here in a fit

I wonder if Flemington opened up and had no bar facilities. I wonder if MCG opens up with no food or bar.
The over policing of shitty rules in public venues is so irritating. Like when you go to AAMI stadium and you have to drink your beer in a yellow pained cube,shoulder to shoulder with 20 other people, and the split second your foot is on the forbidden side, they jump all over you. I guess it does provide people with jobs

we are a nanny state pure and simple, i knowthis going way back but when i attended my first vfl grand final back in 1981 i couldnt believe that with 116k there there were no big queues to get food and drink, i was in and out in a couple of minutes that shit all over what happened here

I was at Flemington for Cup Day 3 years ago. Walked in at 8:30am to get a spot on the fence. NO BEER til 10am

Car rego gives me the sh1ts. It serves no purpose other than to employ a cast of 1000's to administrate it. Vehicles should be registered and fitted with plates at the point of (new ) sale then just have third party renewed annually after that. Gun license is another cash grab with nothing in return. Pathetic.
