Hope it goes quickly for you and others mate.

Hopefully get to watch the Roosters v Bays game on TV, via internet will fill a few hours over the weekend, that and a few punts.

Hopefully the Hawks kick it off for you tonight, I've picked them on the same feeling that had me picking the Cats last night (no, not shorts).

Edit, sorry mate, didn't realise the Hawks would be in white shorts tonight, no chance!

And you'll be happy to know John Platten just walked into the front bar of the Royal. I'll have a beer for you with him. ;)

“In the blink of an eye” - tv show on C7.. telling the story of 7 kids run down by a drunk driver in NSW, 4 died and 3 from family.

Can’t even fathom

The treatment program sounds nothing short of onerous.

Chemo 1 day per week for 5 weeks with 24 hours of fluids after so over night in hospital. Then 6 weeks of radiation 5 days per week, because of his age they'll have to knock him out so he lays still during the radiation. Another treatment ( forgot the name ) once a week for the next 20 weeks.

They would have sent them to the US or Spain for treatment of not for COVID.

Cheers. Was able to piss work off and catch up with the mate and some close friends from the school days yesterday and chat through it. Was very worthwhile.

I couldn't bring myself to watch it.

Sludge was on Outback Truckers so I couldn't miss that.

They repeat the same shit many times but being from a long line of truckers in the family we love to sit down, have a beer and take the piss.

Sludge's tyre fiasco two weeks ago was gold, he's the Russell Coight of the show.

Steve was on last night, he don't mind a whinge and a panic.

Love it!

The wife just doesn’t understand how I can watch it religiously each week.

It takes a special kind, I like spotting places I've been to.

Had to laugh a couple of weeks ago, old mate was taking some tractors from Mildura to Wagin, one of my mother-in-law's lives in Mildura, the other in Wagin, a bit of irony for me.

The tractor saga!
Would they all fit on or not.
The suspense nearly killed me!

I’d love to jump on board with a trucker and cruise the country.
No one for miles and no bloody emails.

Yeah, I used to go to Moomba, Perth, Sydney, Brisbane with my Dad, Grandfather and Uncles at different times when I was growing up, it was a different lifestyle, used to get looked after at the Roadhouse's we stopped at.

Loved it as a kid, there was a dam in the middle of nowhere that we'd stop at for a dip and the old man would get his home made small weber out and cook up a couple of mammoth steaks.

Used to stop in at the Lyndhurst pub for the night and set sail on the Strzelecki Track first thing, had a huge eating area at Moomba that had everything to choose from, no one had to pay for it either.
