My daughter received the following e-mail:

Hello xxxxxx,

My name is Hudson Mattingley, I work for Virtual Billing Pty Ltd.

I have found your resume in the national database for Australian employers and I think I can interest you with our customer service career opportunity.

This is an immediate opportunity. Complete ongoing training. Well paid. Full benefits package. Flexible. Both P/T and F/T schedules are available.

I know that you are not located in ACT (we are based in Barton, ACT), xxxxxxx, but that's not an issue, because we are looking for Customer Service Specialist exactly in your home area.

xxxxxx, if you are still looking for a new career, let me know ASAP, I am happy to send you all the details about our vacancy. Thank you for your time!

Regards,

She answered a few harmless questions, then she's offered the "job" almost immediately but is asked to supply Tax File Number, Credit card and or Bank details!!

The website looks convincing, but the telephone number is always answered by an answer machine and does not identify the company. My daughter smelt a rat and did not comply with their request.
