I have recently been put onto this website... and for once it's not to promote Female Footy ;)

*Copied from my facebook page as i'm not creative enough to think again, haha
Spare change???

Maccas loose change menu must sound pretty tempting... NO! It's bad for you!!! Wanna know an option that's good for you? Jumping on board my bandwagon to help me help others, that's what ;-)

I'm about to undertake one of the craziest adventures of my life which will be filmed in October & aired on Channel 7 in 2013. I'd love to have you all there with me along the way as i support a very worth while cause; Cara!

I'm looking to become you're latest good deed over the next 6 months. In the name of good spirit I'd love to become your 'Sponor Youth'. The term 'sponsor child' was taken, so lets step it up a notch (lol)...

For less then $1 per day over the next 6 months you can sponsor me, and gain access to some of my exciting events we have planned in the coming months ;-) For only $20 per month you would;
-be helping Cara raise valuable funds
-get first priority to any events
&
-and most importantly... i'll love you forever! :-)

Pretty please go to the website below for more details. I'll be updating more info in the coming days... stay tuned :d

Cara supports over 500 children, teenagers and adults with a disability, along with their families and carers. Their accommodation services provide people with a disability with the opportunity to live independently in the community. Through Cara’s respite services, families and individuals who care for people with disabilities are offered the opportunity to take a break from the demands of full-time caring.

Basically, in a nut shell... I'm one of 12 'stars' (so they like to call us) of a one hour documentary to be aired on Channel 7 next year. We're doing it in the hope of raising awareness and funds for Cara in the process. I already have a fundraising committee here at work  We're looking to use our contacts to help raise money... but clearly we don't know everyone. If you would love to help, or know someone who might... please jump on board.

If you have/ know of a business that might like to sponsor, i have another offer;... i have two spaces for logos to sell on my polo shirt that will be worn during filming. Their logo will be on the one hour show, which will be aired twice on channel 7.

All donations/ sponsorships are tax deductable... so pretty please help me, help the community in something other than female footy :ymdaydream: lol

PS, i'll keep you posted regarding any events... if all goes to plan there could be some amazing events on the 2012 calendar... Get on it! :d

Squawk... you're amazing! Thank you for asking :d

Things are slowly starting to roll on. Through my contacts at the Salisbury FC i was able to get a huge donation for Cara. They weren't able to contribute to my personal total, however they did donate a whopping $250,000 to Cara. It pretty much restored my faith in humanity! Cara then gave me some of that to go towards my $10,000 target.

The 12 fundraisers (me being one of them) are also competing to see who can raise the most... I'm currently leading the charge on a total of $2,910 :d If you would like to help increase this i would not only love you forever, but it would help Cara provide a better quality of life for someone with a disability. If every person on SAFooty.net donated $10 or $20... we'd have a sh*t load of money  Pretty please follow the link below to check out my page. It's so quick and easy to donate.

Also... for those of you playing at home, please keep Monday the 30th of July free. More details to follow soon 8)

This picture was taken on April 19, when myself and 11 of my fellow SANFL staff members spent the day giving one of the Cara respite houses a garden makeover.

Looks like we have two nominations for the Australian Limbo team... that's pretty low guys

Squark; One of the guys at the club works for a company who sadly had a prominent staff member pass away. This person left a trust... and the amount of money left behind is beyond ridiculous. Cara is absolutely over the moon about this donation. I think it's fair to say it's a little bit more than the 10k the twelve of us have been asked to raise

Booney; It was only Game Development that was asked to help :D

=)) they were loving life once they found scissors to cut their sleeves off. Ainger was too worried about breaking a sweat before his game that night. Mind you, he did kick four goals against Glenelg after all that

Damn it. If I knew it was that game I would've told Buttsy to hit him on the head with a shovel... ;)

Get excited SAFooty.net'ers :d

The amazing people at West End have kindly supported my cause with Cara by donating $100 for every goal that South Australia kick at the State Game on Saturday!

By showing your support at Glenelg on the weekend you're not only supporting SA, and one of SA's best known companies... You will also be supporting Cara and the great work they do too.

These limited addition t-shirts will also be on sale at the game for $10 for you footy fanatics :D

I'm very excited... in case you can't tell, haha. Adam Grocke is getting his picture taken tonight which will be used in Adelaide Confidential in the next couple of days, so keep an eye out for him.

I will also be at the State Game on Saturday if anyone wishes to find out more about the benefits for their businesses... just look for the random girl that gets WAY too excited whenever South Australia kick a goal

Thank you to South Australia for kicking 15 goals on the weekend... and thank you to West End for 'kicking in' a total of $1500 for Cara :d

Now for the next adventure...

Do you have a son or daughter playing junior football???

If yes, would their club like to raise money for themselves AND have the chance for your childs team to have a training session with Andrew McLeod?

If yes, stay tuned :-bd
