So the HS has got the pay wall going on. Has anyone subscribed to it yet?

Will you? The other sites around ie Adelaide Now will switch to that format too, if it proves successful.

There is a way to get around it too...

It shits me especially when trying to read stuff like the tackle and supercoach info.

The way around it is easy enough, but it is a hassle to do it on each page.

I just read "The Age" for my footy news now.

Would never pay for anything the Hun spits out.

If there is a football article I want to read I just use the loophole and most of the time the article turns out to be a piece of poo that makes me wonder why I would ever pay for it in the first place.

Pay for something on the net?

Tell them they're dreaming.

All news sites will be like that eventually.

Easy way around it is to google the article name.

Good article of Media Watch regarding this, worth a look -> http://www.abc.net.au/mediawatch/video/

So how do you get around it?

Fair enough I reckon. They only get a gazillion a year from advertising on these sites so poor old Rupert needs the extra cash. With the whole News of the World and pay t.v. hacking scandal he is down to his last 10 billion or so. Almost feel like taking the hat around for him at the footy club Saturday night

I'm utterly uninterested to paying to read to anything on the net.
Bet no one is surprised... ;)

They're kidding themselves if they think this is going to end well.

All news sites will end up this way. Less and less people are buying the paper as most of it is available online anyway.

That's good if you like reading the dribble from Caro's mouth.
I'd rather the Sun any day.

Copy the headline. then paste it in google, and click on the appropriate link when the search comes up.

At least in the HS I hear about more than two clubs
