Whats everyone got planned ?

On this topic - Samoa is to skip the 30th of december to be inline with Newzealand/Australia as they are currently on the other side of the date line and are currently the last country to see the sunset for whatever day. Now they will be the first country to move into the new years. They will go from 29th of december to the 31st tomorrow morning

So they're missing a WHOLE day?

Geez, you'd feel a bit ripped off if you were an Aussie there on holiday.. you get stinged a day

I really don't want to do anything cos it's going to be stinking effing hot, however I'd organised about a month ago to go and see Planet Square at the Highlander --great band and I'm a short stagger home so no waiting 2 hours for taxi's..hooray!

correct they are removing the 30th of december 2011 from there calendars. So they can trade with Aust/New zealaand as we are there closet neighbours. To me this could open a can of worms as more pacific islands/countries are looking at this also.

I am working until 8, then trying to sway a chicky babe to meet me out :D

Relaxed barbeque and beers at a mates place. Nice, chilled way to bring in the new year.
