The chrissy/anniversary present to the missus was a pandora bracelet.
Problem being that she already has one...

I can't find anywhere online what it is called, or where I can find it, but apparently there is an adaptor or something to turn two bracelets into one...

Help me ladies....

Because I don't pay attention to jewellery, I had no idea she already had one...

And thanks FC!

But, upon realising your lack of attention and looking up from the 15 foot deep hole you found yourself in, you immediately rescued the situation by saying you knew they could be joined and thought 2 bracelets would look really good???

Or maybe she just needs them making into one bracelet cos she has big wrists.

In what possible way was that bitchy?
I believe those hideous Pandora things are of a limited size and one size does not necessarily fit all.

MP I'm thinking two bracelets = one pair of handcuffs = some fun times in the bedroom...

I learned something today - I'd never heard of them, and had to look it up in Wikipedia.

What some find hideous, others find lovely. My old lady has one, I think, so I'll ask her tomorrow night MP.

Absolutely not...over-hyped, over-priced, shiny junk...and, like FC, I'm not a jewellery lover either.
If people do want to buy jewellery and spend that sort of money at least try using some common sense and get something that will maintain a bit of resale value as well as being pretty...you might not be living in P.I.G.S. but these days you never know when your world might really need some of the cash back again.

I'm sure my wife would be concerned about resale value if I could actually be bothered buying her jewellery. Isn't it supposed to be the thought that counts?

Resale value is a joke on all jewellery.
I checked on selling my wife's engagement ring now I'm far enough past her death to consider it.
Insurance valuation $6800 - offer to buy from the same company $2000.
I've decided to just keep it at that price, even though it only cost me $690 in 1984.

It makes you wonder what the stuff they advertise on TV for $699 today is really worth on the real market...
