That reminds me of my last house move.
I paid $650 for insurance and $6500 for the move from Melbourne to Adelaide.
At a rough estimate I think it cost the insurance company about $10K.
Fortunately I got about $6K of that in cash to pay for replacements and repairs.
(Some of which repairs I'll do myself.)
