This year I have decided to take the plunge and grow a mo to raise funds for organisations that support men's health issues. The money to be raised is for Beyond Blue, The Prostate Council Foundation of Australia and the Movember Foundation. For those who don't know I lost my Grandfather to Prostate Cancer five years ago and my father is currently facing his own battle with inoperable lung cancer. Boys, it's time we started to look after ourselves.

If you are interested in donating money to these very worthy causes please access my 'mospace' at http://mobro.co/reb and click on the 'Donate to Me' button. I'll be posting pics of my not so mighty mo as the month goes on but at the moment there is a very clean cut looking reb on my mospace and he has to go! I hate bloody mos (but that Moe guy is ok though!) too so let's say I'll be looking forward to December one and getting the shaving cream out.

Please give if you can there's no such thing as a donation that is too small.

Thank you,

REB

Movember

Postby OnSong » Mon Oct 24, 2011 3:27 pm

I'm giving it a crack for the first time this year.

I'm one of the lucky blokes who can't really grow a moustache on demand, so I have given myself a head start, as I am handicapped in the facial hair department.

Anyone else getting involved?

Head start? Rule One states that each Mo Bro must begin the 1st November with a clean shaven face!

Nevertheless, a great cause. I won't participate this year, but will make donations instead, so hit me up for one OS!

Yeah, doing it with our cricket club, think we got about $1000 last year.

Sorry about the head start, but if I didn't start now, I would not have anything by November 30

A chick at work wanted me to dye my mo pink for a week. I charged her a grand. She is getting a posse together so I might have hit the jackpot here. I couldn't grow a mo as good as that cricket dude though that is a beauty.
