Aged care institutions; 'casual/temp' companies
Posted: Wed Oct 19, 2011 8:49 pmI'm wondering if anyone can tell me which (if any) companies you know of that sends casual/temporary workers to aged care facilities. I don't mean nurse/personal care positions, but rather, kitchen hands/domestic positions.
For example, when a regular/permanent staff member is sick, which companies do the aged care places call for temporary staff to serve meals/do light cleaning/kitchen hand work?
I'm wondering which temporary agencies might be possible options to enquire about work.
I'm specifically thinking around the Marion area and surrounding areas, but any ideas/comments regarding any workplaces you know of would be a great help for me to know which agencies to start contacting for a day or two a week of work.
