Not sure how many are aware of the Gawler Show, its South Australias largest Country Show and often used as an alternative by many families in Adelaide to the overpriced Royal Adelaide Show, has sideshows, rides, showbags, as well as some interesting events like the Ute muster, Barrossa steam engine society static displays, local theatre productions as well as the various show items for animals and crafts and so on, well worth a look at less than half of the price of the royal!

The actual showgrounds are not far from Murray Street, they usually have an extra train station after Gawler Central for the showgrounds, I am not sure what the parking is like, yet considering where the showgronds are in relation to the side streets it would seem that its much like parking at Goodwood for the Royal or going into the showgrounds parking as you would the Parklands. With the new Freeway into Gawler its not to hard to get in and out without to many problems!

Gawler Oval station is actually after Gawler, but BEFORE Gawler Central and is the closest to the showgrounds (only couple of minutes walk)
