What Jungian or Myers-Briggs Personality Type are you

Postby bulldogproud2 » Wed Aug 03, 2011 10:40 pm

I just did an online Myers-Briggs test and enjoyed learning the results. These tests do seem to work pretty well in assessing your personality type - my results were INFJ.
Tests can be found here, if you are interested. They only take about five minutes to complete.

These tests fail to acknowledge the existence of a 17th personality type.

This personality is best described as "the sort of person who holds Myers-Briggs personality tests in contempt and will answer the questions randomly if forced to take one".

That's my personality type. 8)

You get to question 28 and become board?

Y / N

You answer a trivial question flipantly, then get bamboozled by a question asking about the complexity of life?

It is consistent - my score was the same years ago - and the description fits: http://typelogic.com/enfj.html
I ran across this in about 2003, when I was co-located with a rather odd Psychologist who ran his practice on this concept, and Zen principles.

Interesting that we already have three of us who are INFJ as this is regarded as the rarest of the sixteen personality types, representing less than 3% of the population. Some famous INFJ's have included Mother Teresa, Gandhi... but also Hitler!
