G'day All

Brahma Lodge Football Club have recently acquired a brand new mouse (cup) racing track.

BLFC will be making the track available to hire to other clubs.

A Mouse Cup can be a fantastic fundraiser for your club.

I will be posting photos shortly, any interest please PM me.

My club already has one, but I'll second what Browny says!

The biggest nights I've had at our footy club have been around our annual "mouse cup".

And oh gee whiz, will your club make a lot of money.

Likewise at Broadview, we are holding out 8th mouse cup in a few weeks, is a great night and as stated brings in a hell of a lot of money

I'd love to hear details about how it works... does the house collects all the bets, and pay out 3 to one for the winner, or something like that? How many mice run at once?

Great club nights, gets juniors and seniors involved. It's probably fairly similar across most clubs, when I was at Nth Haven the mice were named after characters from around the club, a form guide was made up with racing puns relating to the person the mice was named after, you had the option to buy a mouse for the evening putting you in the VIP owners area, real dollars were converted into mouse money to bet on with the bookie, people got dressed as if they were attending the spring carnival.

Sounds similar to ours LMA, I remember the 1st one and about 40 people turned up, now we get over 200 on the night. Have normal and silent auctions as well along with balloon raffles and a number of other games where people (especially the kids) can win some great prizes. For anyone interested Broadviews Mouse cup is coming up soon and details are available on the events page of our website

Really? It's on tonight but I already made plans...
If I find out an safooty.net personality is going to be there, I'd have to change plans!
