I have it on good authority that SA Footy personality CENTURION (although, I believe he is currently banned from the site, temporarily) has unfortunately been taken to the Modbury Hospital earlier this evening after suffering what has thought to be a minor heart attack.

oh wows thats not good at all. Was in really good spirits Saturday.

hopefully its not as bad as first thought and he makes a speedy recovery.

Yes, the man himself was texting me earlier, I think from the hospital but maybe outside it, but haven't heard anything for a couple of hours so perhaps he has gone in to see the Doc and turned the phone off.

Will keep you all updated if and when I hear any more.

Yeah, and the text he sent me telling me about the possible heart attack started "Hey Poof" !!!

Sounds as though Gaz is still in good spirits, hopefully all goes well.

Pfft, he might be blaming North for getting so close, but really he's just looking for an excuse not to have to front up to Coopers Stadium this week for another close game between the two teams! Better tell him not to turn ABC1 on this Saturday, either LOL

Just got a text from the good man himself, he is out of hospital but under strict instructions to take it easy and rest up for a while (and cut back on the booze !!!)

He texted saying the issue he had is known in medical terms a "Supraventrical Tachycardia"

I'm sure once his ban is up on this site, we will hear from the man himself.

Good news, on the mend. Maybe no more corporate box for him (for a while) and the fewer close games the better.
