SA Footy Test Dummies

Ok, so there's a new product being advertised on TV. Or a big bright sign at the front of a take-away shop brandishes a sensational new menu item.
You go in. You try it. You review it. Here!
I'm one to bite the bullet, take one for the team. Pow!

Yesterday, I spotted a beverage at the bottom of a local take-away shop fridge labelled Go-Coco Pineapple.
It's basically a new fad sports drink, coconut water with pineapple flavouring.
Image
(Guava model shown)
Let me start by saying WHOA it's sweet.
Then there is this indistinct mix between pineapple and coconut flavours, which isn't pleasant.
Once the pineapple washes away, you're left with a coconut aftertaste.
I'm not a big fan of coconut, but if you have to put up with the flavour, you may as well smash some Malibu and get something out of it.
Right in front of me. RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!

I'm a sucker for that especially when it comes to beer, although I'm not sure if it's new but it seemed well advertised at the bottle o, I tried Hahn White the other week. They recommend drinking it with a slice of orange, I didn't but they're probably right as it has a bit of an acrid after taste

It's a belgian style of beer, wasn't very nice I'm not sure if a piece of fruit could improve it either

Good beer certainly doesn't need fruit in it.

I'll have to admit I have smashed a few Illusions in my time but no, this doesn't taste as good as they did (from memory).

I'm with you. If you can't drink Corona's straight, don't drink them at all.

Which is why I don't drink Coronas. More of a fashion beer IMO. Not that greater flavour.
I tried that Warnie burger a few months ago. Didn't rate it highly.

I was in Singapore when I first sighted the McGriddle.
It was just a picture, it looked like a herbed McMuffin, so I ordered one with sausage, bacon, egg and cheese.
Turned out it was a maple syrup infused pancake. Delicious. Not so delicious with that filling, but I ate it anyway.

Ditto OnSong. I don't drink Corona's either cos the beer is too weak for me.

Tried the new Powerade flavour "Silver Rush" today.
Not sure if it is a grapefruit flavour or a lemon/pub squash flavour.
My instincts are telling me grapefruit. Doesn't taste bad but the thought I'm drinking something grapefruit flavour makes me sick.

Eagle Boys "make your own pizza deal".

Great when you make an entire pizza from scratch, but try ordering, say, a Pepperoni, and wanting bacon pieces?

Well they just dump the bacon on top, and it falls off first bite...

Does not happen with an "ordinary" pizza.

I've tried the bacon flavoured chips and the lamb and mint flavour chips but they were pretty decent.
Is the cheeseburger flavour cheesy? Or vomitty?
