PokerStars have now added a 'home game' feature to their software.

Basically allows for a group of friends (or posters) to play in tournaments or cash games from the comfort of their own home..

Leaderboard for tournament results etc....

PokerStars can be downloaded here here

As there are only 50 spots in the league available and it would be great to keep it for real posters send me a PM and ill forward the Invitation code etc

Sure can Dog_ger, i was hoping once we had enough people that have joined we can run a weekly tournament... both a Play Money 1 (every1 gets $1000 in play money and if u lose it all they give u 1000 more) and then a real money buy in tournament...

Both with a leaderboard and either a 3,6,12 month season.

There are also real and play money ring games (non tournament 'cash' games) that can be set up. With any form of poker and for different cost levels.

As a SA Footy club, would be good to get feedback on times and days every1 thinks suits best as well as buy in levels.

No, it all comes out of your normal account...

Hopefully a few more start to join up.. only about half of the people who have asked have signed up.

Q
How many play money poker chips do I start with? What if I run out of chips?

A
You will be given 1,000 play money chips to start. However, if at any time you are below 100 chips, simply click the dealer tray and select ‘Add More Chips...’

This ‘rebuy’ feature is intended to replenish the stack of a player who has legitimately lost their entire stack while playing poker. The new 1,000 chips are for the use of that player only. Re-buys acquired for purposes other than this are subject to forfeiture.

Note that you may only replenish your play money chips up to three times per hour. This rule is intended to encourage more ‘serious’ play. If you use up your three rebuys, you will have to wait for the next hour to get more chips.
