Got a horrid night, my 15 year old daughter is holding a NYE party here for her friends, dont think there will be enough room in the pool for me seeing it is going to be very hot weather, so i might just trundle down to the Walkers with Mrs Locky for the evening

i agree, i don't & have never understood why people get so excited

occaisionally i walk over to the bay to watch the fireworks (not that it does much for me), however with a 43 degree day i'll get home from work & stay under the air conditioner & might even be asleep earlier than you southee ;)

Got Gold Longe Pass for the movies for Chritmas so the wife and I will be seeing a flick around 7.30pm then either head to a mates place for a casual BBQ or home under the air-con.

well given the heat it looks like i will be out of bed early friday and get some beer into me to me to keep my body hydrated with fluids!
Then it will be a bbq and poker in the back room with the continuation of keeping body hydrated!

x3

Can only think of 2 absolutely memorable NYE's that I've had. Usually just have a backyarder some where with a few friends.

This year having my cousins who are down from QLD around for it, should be good! :D

considering that my 3 girls were either born or due in September and are all 2 years apart must have meant that I had 3 memorable NYEs ... bugger me, can't remember any of them though. :-s

x2!! Whats the major excitement over it? To be honest its just a night people can get really drunk and not need an excuse
Everywhere you go (if you go out) is jam packed, full of idiots, usually plenty of fights.

Id rather just stay home and relax or go around a mates place.
