X-Mas stories you once told your children.

One x-mas morning after the kids had opened their presents.

I told them that Santa was running late to give out the presents to the children of the area,

and had come down a little too fast upon landing on our roof.

The great man in red gently woke me from my sleep and asked if I could help him to mend his sleigh.

Being in a hurry he had accidently crash landed on our roof and damaged the runners on the bottom of his craft.

After me and him repairing his sleigh to continue on his journey he gave me an award.

A majic duplicate key that he uses to open up the doors of peoples houses that don't have a chiminey that he can get down.

But I was never to use this key, only for emergencies.... ;)

About 9 months later, after which I had totally forgotten the tale I had told.

Walking hand in hand with my young son into the local shopping centre,

A couple of girls walked up to us and said,

Can you help us, we have locked our car keys in our car?

I said I Don't think so?

My son yanks on my arm and says " Dad, use the majic key that santa gave you...?

I fumbled through my keys trying all the keys on my keyring.

You won't believe it, one of my smallest keys opened the door to their car.

Ah there really is a santa...
