If you drink and drive you should drive as fast as you can so you aren't on the road for as long.

Unfortunately accidents will occur, because it's not Alcohol, drugs or other factors that cause these accidents.

PEOPLE CAN'T DRIVE!!

Bit more important than a World Cup bid video.

Just wish this message would actually sink into some people.

Take it one step further .. a lot of people turn into idiots the moment they get behind the wheel.

Tonight on 9 News, they reported on two 17 year olds, both P platers having a drag race resulting in the death of one. What do we hear? Tributes as to what a great guy he was, etc.

This wasn't an accident. it was an act of gross negligence and stupidity.

Don't tell us what a great guy he was, tell us what an idiot he was. A least TRY to get the message across FFS!!!

Wish they had the balls to show ad's that graphic here...can't be full on enough in my book.

Many years back I lost a wonderful work colleague and brilliant rugby player who'd been married less than 3 months to a drunk driver at Christmas time. We were told the driver was so drunk the police found him sitting in his car giggling at Mac's body. Seeing his heavily sedated wife collapse, screaming at the funeral is something that will stay with me forever.

Whether it's drunk or drugs it should ALWAYS be zero tolerance and manslaughter at the very least.

Regards
JAS

He was 17, still at school & by the looks of it driving a family station wagon. Hardly the profile of a perennial hoon driver.
There's still a family now without a son. The police covered it on the news stating that it was a drag race gone wrong.
When your kids reach that age come on & tell us what angels they are.
