My Staffy has been staying at Hedgegrove since she was 6 months old.... they have a great set up, have a pick up and delivery service and are good value for money... Ebbie always has a good time there, I can tell 'cause for a day or so after she sleeps..

Yep she woulda been welcome otherwise! I have to find a home for Chops, although our breeder might help us out which is good!

If she was desexed then Matty's woulda been good - Leroy would have a bit of fun
I'm proud of you fellas. You all kept your head on a swivel, and that's what you gotta do when you find yourself in a vicious cock fight!

Avoid the ones that also double as, or are geographically close to, refuges for strays.
Our dog caught "Kennel Cough" in that situation, which cost us a fair bit afterwards in Vet bills, and he never fully recovered.
Vets tend to recommend the dual function ones as they see them as doing good work and in need of support.
[One could be cynical and say doing good work for Vets, but I don't think it is true, generally.]

Having said that the RSPCA at Lonsdale has always been really good for our pooch.

Avoid the one at the start of the freeway though...ours got a cough from that and he stunk like s**t
