Exciting to do in Adelaide

Postby lovetotalkfooty » Thu Oct 28, 2010 10:30 am

I have been tasked to organise some activities for about 20 people in mid to late december. It's a work activity and are looking for some suggestions of some activities that i may be able to plan. I have been told to organise 2 half day events (About 4 hours each) and 1 full day event. They can be physical, mental or just plain fun.

I am open to ANY suggestions.

Organise an 'Amazing Race' around the city. Takes some preparation but can be a hoot if done properly.

Plenty of suggestions for activities and challenges online.

Also - there's a rock climbing joint near Holden Hill police station that's supposed to be pretty good for a group activity.

Just a couple I can think of off the top of my head.

Hey LTTF

For my 40th I organised a couple of hours at Amusement Worx. if they're pinball-y arcade game-y type people then go for that option. That's just one thought I had off the top of my head.

Scavenger hunts can be great fun. I organised one for my Squadron summer bbq years ago for something a bit different and they loved it.

Make a list of stuff they have to find, beg or borrow (obviously not steal)...can be almost anything from the useless like a feather, a button, a piece of string to evidence of something like proof they got a stranger to willingly hug them in the street (ie a photo on a mobile) or arrange with a shop/pub for them to go in, give a password and collect something to prove they did. The possibilities are endless.

JAS

Plenty of great idea's.

Really like the scavenger hunt idea. Might have to look in to that a little further. Also like the idea of shooting a few blokes at work for paintball.

Thanks everybody.
