Just wondering if anyone has had shoulder surgery like me . I have had a recon and open bankarat surgery with 4 metal anchors put in due to a dislocation that kept re dislocating up to twelve times in two years. I am 4 months post op and considering a return to cricket it feels good enough .Any advice and info would be greatly appreciated

I've had the same and from memory I was playing cricket 6 months after. Had been a bowler but went and had a crack as a batsman. Although I was terrible still managed to get through a game ok.

One thing I highly highly highly recommend is following whatever rehab program is set for you religiously. As a kid I only went through the motions half-arsed and as a result I have a few mobility problems now. Finding it hard to rectify now but am back to bowling half decently so if you follow the physio's advice you should be alright.

Perhaps if you swapped hands every now and then you wouldn't have a problem
