Hello,

On Sunday the 17th of October I will be doing the walk to cure diabetes.
I would absolutely love it if you would donate money to help us find a cure for Type 1 diabetes.
It doesn’t matter if its $1 or $100, anything is appreciated.
Below is the website to go to, just click on donate and donate as much as you want to.
Thank you in advance for your help, every little bit counts.

Jump on board people, coming from a parent who's son died and had to be resuscitated at the WCH when he got diagnosed from this terrible lifelong illness.
Interesting enough, when we spoke to Centrelink about trying to cover the ongoing costs to keep up with his medication we got told that it isn't on their list of supported illnesses. However, ADD is and we have a friend who's daughter has only 90% hearing in one of her ears is covered, go figure.
My son requires insulin injections 5 times a day and a host of other instruments to monitor his BSL and to keep him out of hospital, he has to stay in hospital if he gets sick with the mildest of other illnesses. Poor bugger, life sucks for some, he's stuck with it until a cure can be found.

Great stuff Johno, get it out there.
