I did similar for a wedding so we had matching outfits and shoes.
$400 later…………

And I had to return it.
Not cheap but was a quick and easy option

You can get a decent suit (van heusen) for $400 to keep at harbour town/Myer

$400 was everything.
Shoes, tie, cufflinks etc.
Whats worse I’ve got black RM’s but had to pay $50 to hire a $40 pair of black bata Kmart shoes

Why Coles are pulling out of the petrol game.

Not sure if anyone else has noticed the re -branding of all the Shell Coles express outlets, mostly to Caltex?

It was part of the of Viva Energy deal to purchase OTR that they had to divest the Coles express brand.

I'm hearing this 'divest' word a lot these days...is it a softer way of saying "selling"?

Having a debate with my son, I have a cleaner come round fortnightly on Tuesdays (mainly because I hate mopping and cleaning the bathroom), I tell him that we have to do a full clean on the Sunday but he says “why, it’s getting cleaned anyway?”.
Who is right?

You are. You're the father.

You are. You're the father.

That was my view, along with the less to clean, the less time she’ll need to be there.

He lobs in last night to clean his crap, he’s heading to Port Vic for the week for work so he starts messing about with fishing rods, gets up to pack his car to head to his girlfriends and leaves all his shit on the kitchen table for me!

To mop, vacuum, clean the bathroom and other bits that she would do a better job than I would.

Last fortnight she went out to the back patio to sweep up and sort my empties, even potted some plants and placed them strategically.

I'm lost here.

You have her in to clean, but clean before she cleans so she's not there for as long? Do you have her for a minimum time, 2,3 4 hours?

If she cleans better than you doing jobs you don't like doing then surely you just let her do them?

My two cents:

You are paying the cleaners come in to do the cleaning. (Vacuum, mop & bucket, scrub toilets, etc).

You don't want to pay them to tidy first.

That means pack your sh!t up, no clothes lying around, no toys left out, etc, so when she arrives, she can get straight into the cleaning.
